Destination Manager in Indonesia
The Destination Manager for Indonesia will be primarily responsible for helping to implement and execute sourcing and commercial relationship management plans in Indonesia, specifically in Bali. This role also comprises a variety of tasks that work as part of the company’s quality control and customer experience improvement for Indonesia. The role requires great communication and interpersonal skills to work with tour guides and external vendors.
Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan :
- Recruit and maintain a network of tour guides to ensure operational and sales continuity. This includes relationship management and performance evaluation of the tour guides.
- Negotiation with vendors, restaurants or activity providers to ensure the company has the best possible rate and quality of the services provided.
- Ensure reliability, legality and safety of all tours at all times through the effective application, management and enforcement of the company’s standard procedures, local laws and regulations, and timely escalation of potential risks.
- Collaboration with the Business Development team to develop and optimize tour itineraries and inventory to ensure the tours offered are aligned with the traveling trend.
Keahlian :
People management skills
Great communication and interpersonal skills; fluent and/or highly proficient in oral and written English
Proficient in computer skills including experience with G-Suite
Open to new technologies and willing to adapt them in everyday operations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
Kualifikasi :
- Based in Bali, Indonesia
- Has a strong understanding of tourism industry business practices in Indonesia
- Preferably with 1-2 years experience in account management, sales, hospitality and/or online travel industry
